Year 11 Visual Arts

Amazing work
Our talented Year 11 Visual Arts students have been hard at work honing their painting skills through an intensive unit on hyper-realism. Focusing on still-life compositions, students explored advanced techniques in shading, texture, and detail to create artworks that are both technically impressive and visually captivating.
Throughout the term, students showed remarkable growth and dedication, with many producing paintings that far exceeded expectations.
Notable standouts included Damian Cugalj, Emily Nguyen, Davina Kong, and Joanna Nguyen, who each demonstrated exceptional attention to detail and creativity in their final pieces. Their work reflects both their artistic talent and their commitment to mastering complex techniques.
We are proud to announce that a selection of these outstanding work
including pieces by Damien, Emily, Davina, and Joanna
will be featured in this year’s CAPA (Creative and Performing Arts Showcase!)
Be sure to attend and see these incredible artworks in person - each one a testament to the hard work and artistic potential of our Year 11 Visual Arts class.
Showcase dates to be confirmed.
