Prayers in Pyjamas

Thank you to all the families who came along to Prayers in Pyjamas this year. We had a very special time of singing and praying together, and making some special prayer items to take home. 

Assembly

This week 1/2 L shared about our recent excursion to Como House at assembly. I am very proud of the effort that each person put in to writing about the excursion, and being brave enough to speak with the microphone in front of the whole school! Fantastic effort 1/2L! A big thank you to the parents and special guests who came to support us. 

Stars of the Week

Last week Eddie shared with us some special items from South Sudan. A beautiful hand crafted suk suk (beads), and a headdress. Eddie told us how these are work for special occasions such as weddings and cultural days. Thank you for sharing your culture with us Eddie!

This week, Reuben shared with us about his love for cars. He brought in a special toy Lamborghini as well as photos of his Ford Ranger that he recently fixed up and enjoys driving to soccer in. Reuben also read his special book 'Reuben's ABC', a book filled with photos of special things from when Reuben was younger. 

Happy Birthday

Wishing Quinn (7th) and Joshua (16th) a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY! We hope you both had a very special day.
