Formal Letter Big Write - by Egidio

In Writing we have been learning about how to write formal letters. In our Big Write, we wrote a letter from our orphan characters from camp, imagining it was five years after we left school. We are publishing our letters on Canva and it was really fun to see people enjoying their writing. Ms. Lisa is going to send our letters to Ma'am, who was the teacher that we had in our orphanage school at Sovereign Hill camp. 

The VCOP Gang: Connie Connective - by Eva

This term our VCOP focus is connectives. Connie Connective teaches us how to join sentences and ideas in interesting ways. My favourite connective that I've discovered so far is 'nor', because you can use it in lots of different sentences. We've done some fun activities, like card matching games and a word scavenger hunt, where we tried to find connectives to UpLevel our writing. 

Term 3 Learning Showcase - Step Back in Time

After the wonderful success of our Learning Showcase last term, we are thrilled to announce that we will host another showcase , Friday, 19th September, beginning at 2:00pm. This term, the showcase is going to be a whole school experience, giving the whole SFX community a chance to see the amazing learning across the school from Year Prep to Grade Six!
