Year 1

Swimming Program

The compulsory swimming program for Year 1 students is eight sessions from weeks 7 to 9 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday each week, from Monday 26 August to Tuesday 10 September. Students will attend a 45 minute session at the Huntingtower Sports and Aquatic Centre (HSAC) Swim School in Mount Waverley.

Dress Up Day

We will celebrate our Term 3 study of fairy tales with a Fairy Tale Dress Up Day on Monday 16 September.

We encourage ALL students in Year One to dress up as their favourite Fairy Tale character.

We are delighted that on the day we will be having a Cinderella Ball Tea Party/Fairy Tale lunch in the Hall.

As part of our celebrations we are also seeking 5-6 parent helpers (1-2 from each class) to help set up our ‘Cinderella Ball Tea Party’ and assist in serving our finest guests (aka the students). If you are available on Monday 16 September from 11.45am to 1.30pm, and have a current Working with Children Check that has been presented at the School Office, please email Emily Puyk.
