NEVR Youth Concert: Sonic Canvas

On the 29th of May, our Chamber Choir performed in the NEVR concert with another eleven schools at Hamer Hall. We sang five different songs with a variety of composers. It was a remarkable experience and we were proud of our performance. This wouldn't have happened if it wasn’t for our favourite music teacher … Ms Cordell, and our parent/teacher helpers! We would like to thank them for taking us to rehearsals, and most importantly taking us to Hamer Hall. Well done Chamber Choir!

Monash Youth Music Festival

On Monday 12th August Chamber Choir competed in the Monash Youth Music Festival. We sung two songs, Baltic by Katherine Ruhle and Red Dust Sky by Deborah Cheetham.  We were very nervous but excited at the same time. We tried our best and successfully placed second out of six schools. We would like to thank Miss Cordell for all the hard work put into the competition and teaching us the songs. We would also like to thank Yul’s Mum Yu Ni for playing the piano, all the parents for taking the children to the competition, and the students in the Chamber Choir for trying their best at the competition.
