Congratulations to all the children who made their First Reconciliation last night. They did a fabulous job and were well prepared and excited for this special step in their faith journey.

A big thankyou to Fr Junjun and Fr Vijay from Benalla for the stepping the children through their Reconciliation and in particular to Fr Junjun for all he has done to help in the candidate’s preparation. To the Year 3 teachers and all the staff who attended to support our candidates a very big thank you also and finally to the children and their family’s great job.

Season of Creation

The Catholic Season of Creation is an annual, ecumenical celebration from September 1 to October 4, which includes the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation and concludes with the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi. During this time, Christians worldwide unite in prayer and action to care for Earth, our "common home". It encourages a focus on God's gift of creation, leading to a renewed commitment to environmental responsibility and a deeper relationship with the natural world. In our parish we will celebrate the Season of Creation with a Mass on the foreshore on Thursday October 2nd at 5.00pm. This will be quite a special opportunity for our children to experience Mass outside adding to the feeling of the amazing gift that God has placed in our care. Mass will be followed by a BBQ . Everyone is welcome. BYO salad or sweet and drinks and a chair.

Baptism

If you would like to have your child baptised, please contact Jess at the Parish office to arrange preparation. An information meeting is held the first Tuesday of the month.
