End of the Term already?  Da vero? Mamma Mia!

I'm enjoying teaching students to sing Italian songs as we've been doing this term.  We are making connections to words we already know and expressions mentioned in songs that could be used in every day Italian-speaking life.  As explained to the students, Italians mainly sing about 3 things: Love, Food and their love for food 🤣.

Grade 3's have learnt the classic That's Amore the proper way, but I have shown them the Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis comical version on YouTube which has bought lots of laughter this term. They don't seem to get tired of it!

And sometimes, my classroom can get a bit crazy (see video's - the second one will feature the classroom tv with the clip on it and I think you'll see we have our own Dean Martin (same surname too!).
