OSHClub News

Week 5
Week 5 was another exciting and energetic week at OSHClub as we continued our “Move Masters” theme! Despite the wet weather throughout the week, the children still had an amazing time staying active, creative, and engaged with a variety of indoor and outdoor experiences.
Our Breakfast Club kept everyone fuelled and ready for the day with delicious waffles, DIY fruit skewers, chocolate blueberry muffins, refreshing mango smoothies, and fluffy pancakes. The children especially loved creating their own fruit skewers and choosing their favourite combinations! This week’s Snack Squad included a fun mix of waffles, tacos, yoghurt cones, sushi bowls, and pancakes. It was wonderful seeing the children enjoying meals together and trying a variety of different flavours and foods throughout the week.
Children had lots of opportunities to get creative through a range of hands-on experiences. Our creative activities included an animal shape challenge, decorating our own sports balls, creating paper plate memory games, designing hanging ceramic hearts, making comic books, DIY keychains, and recycled robot crafts. These activities encouraged creativity, problem-solving, and imagination while allowing children to express themselves in different ways.
Even with the rainy weather, our physical activities kept everyone moving and having fun indoors and outdoors whenever possible. Children participated in Gaga Ball, basketball shooting, AFL games, Farmer Sam, Octopus, dodgeball, Everyone’s It, and lots of high-energy group games in the hall. The hall quickly became a hub of teamwork, laughter, and movement throughout the week!
Overall, Week 5 was full of creativity, energy, teamwork, and fun experiences shared together. We are excited for next week as we head into the final week of our “Move Masters” theme before beginning "Taste Trek"!

Cancellation of Bookings
IMPORTANT: If your child is booked in for an afternoon Stay and Play session and that booking is no longer required, please cancel the booking on the iParent Portal. If you are cancelling on the day, please contact us on the program phone before 3:25pm to avoid a non-notified absence fee of $20.00 per child.
We are responsible for all children booked into our care. If a child does not arrive after school care when booked in to attend, we will need to confirm the whereabouts of the child by contacting parents/guardians and emergency contacts. If we cannot successfully do this, it then becomes a missing child incident.
As you can imagine, this can be very stressful!
Thanks for your cooperation by notifying us of any Stay and Play absences.
