Year 7 Camp
Our Year 7 camp was an unforgettable experience. We all had so much fun. Our cabins were a random mix of people from our class and our activity groups were made up of one or two students from each form - the perfect setting to make new friends!
The giant swing was awesome. I liked how everyone worked as a team to pull each person up and we all cheered after someone got back to the ground. We were all super supportive of each other.
I also liked the sensory trail. We paired up: one partner held the rope and the other guided them with only their voice. It was a fun activity of trust and relying on different senses.
At one point, my group went into the pool. We played ‘Marco Polo’. It was heaps of fun and really refreshing. We also played catch and tag in the water.
Overall, I think I can speak for all of the Year 7 students when I say we loved the experience. Thank you to the incredible teachers who planned and supported us at camp. The memories and friendships made on camp have been the highlight of the beginning of our time together at MGSC.
