Year 12 Camp

Sun, Sea and the Spirit of Nossal
Year 12 Camp was an unforgettable highlight of Camps and Pathways Week 2026, a chance for our graduating cohort to step away from the demands of VCE, reconnect with one another, and create memories that will last long after the year is done.
The aquatic activities were a true standout, with students taking to the waves for surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, snorkeling, kayaking, and beach games, all delivered with the kind of energy and enthusiasm that only a Nossal cohort can bring. Raft building once again proved to be a highlight, combining creativity, engineering thinking, and no small amount of laughter.
The Indigenous Cultural Learning program was one of the most meaningful experiences of the camp, giving students the opportunity to connect with the history, traditions, and living culture of the First Nations people of the region, a genuinely moving and perspective-broadening experience.
The Initiative Challenges put teamwork firmly to the test, while screen printing gave students the chance to slow down, get creative, and take home a tangible memento from the week.
Together, these experiences gave our Year 12 students the opportunity to deepen friendships, discover new strengths, and face challenges side by side, emerging with a renewed sense of what it means to be part of the Nossal community.
We extend our warmest thanks to Ms. Kyleigh Wilson, Ms. Joanna Soltys, Mr. Angus Clark and Ms. Fiona De Zylva, and to all the teachers who gave their time to be at camp. Your commitment to our students goes well beyond the classroom, and it does not go unnoticed.
