Year 9 Camp

Adventure, Connection and Challenge
Year 9 Camp was an unforgettable highlight of Camps and Pathways Week 2026, an experience that challenged students to step beyond their comfort zones, both physically and socially, in the best possible way.
The energy and encouragement shared between students was remarkable to witness. Whether conquering the heights of the pamper pole, working up the courage to abseil, or carefully mounting the crate stack one level at a time, students cheered each other on, celebrated each other's achievements, and built connections that will last well beyond the camp itself.
Teamwork took centre stage in the low ropes course and raft building activities, where students brought out their competitive spirit, creative thinking, and ability to work together under pressure.
Every challenge demanded communication, collaboration, and trust, skills that are just as valuable in the classroom and the workplace as they are on a ropes course.
From tackling obstacles alongside old friends and new, to embracing every activity with enthusiasm and resilience, Year 9 Camp was a genuinely remarkable and rewarding adventure and a wonderful reminder of what our students are capable of when they embrace the challenge.
