Despite the rainy weather on Saturday morning, our annual E-Waste and Stationery Aid Collection was a great success. It was wonderful to see volunteers come together to sort the e-waste that had been collected throughout the year, ensuring it could be responsibly recycled rather than ending up in landfill.

By the end of the morning, we had collected an impressive 120 kilograms of e-waste, helping to divert a significant amount of electronic waste from the general waste stream.

We also received a generous number of stationery donations, which will be used to create book packs for students in need through Stationery Aid. These contributions will make a meaningful difference to young people who require extra support with their learning.

A sincere thank you to Sabastian Kaminski, Joey Sullivan, Pat Pink, Callem Bambling, Jarel Jervis-McGuigan, and OscarBrodie for generously giving up their Saturday morning to assist with the collection and sorting process.

As a reminder, students can continue to recycle small electronic items throughout the year using the permanent e-waste collection point located in the Science foyer. We encourage all members of our community to make use of this service to help reduce waste and support sustainable recycling practices.
