R U OK Day?

Whilst R U OK day is recognised on Thursday 11th September this year, we were lucky enough to have been invited by R U OK convoy to host a lunch time of raising awareness. The set up was incredible, providing a sausage sizzle, there were chess boards, and so much yellow. Our wellbeing team were incredible in organising this expo with many of our local health and wellbeing organisations also supporting this event.

Absences

As our term ends, can we please ask that parents/guardians check their SEQTA dashboard to look at any unresolved absences that students may have. All absences must be approved by either calling year level offices, the absence hotline or contacting form group teachers. 

Term 4 - Hats

As we approach Term 4, families are reminded that as per our sun smart policy, all students are expected to wear their College bucket hat. If students have misplaced their school hats, they are available for purchase from our administration office.

School Captains

As our term closes, we will be looking for nominations for our 2026 school captains - this is a fantastic opportunity for students to develop leadership skills and work with college staff and peers in building upon the great work that we do here at our College. 

SRC Footy Colours Day

As we hit Week 9 next week, we will be advertising that we will hold a casual day on the last day of Term 4 - asking our college community to wear their footy colours for a gold coin!

Parent Teacher Interviews

We look forward to having you join us at parent teacher interviews to discuss your child’s progress and steps to put in place in supporting them to be the best student they can be. 

We wish all of our students all the very best for those lucky enough to be playing in grand finals over the next couple of weeks. We also wish all of our students and families a safe and relaxing September break.
