Performing Arts

Our cast are having a great time rehearsing for our school production 'Porridge'. Each Tuesday, the cast rehearse at recess and after school to help them remember their lines. They have been working hard and we are focusing on character emotions and voice projection. I am constantly amazed by how funny our students are when they are performing! Audiences are in for a fantastic evening of laughter!

In Performing Arts lessons, classes have begun learning the songs that will be performed. We are working hard to stay in time with one another when we are singing, as well as performing the choreography. This is great timing after a wonderful performance with Omar in Dance Curriculum. It has also been lovely to see some of our students show interest in performing musical pieces they are learning in private tutition for the class. Our students have been enthralled by the talents of our musicians at Highvale Primary School!

It is so wonderful to see the creativity and musicality of our school community on full display! Well done everybody for your fantastic efforts in Performing Arts class.
