Warinj News
We’ve had a wonderful and fun start to our final term! We were excited to take part in the school’s Festival of the Arts, showcasing the children’s creativity and their exploration of nature through art. Inspired by our flower drawings and the beautiful spring blossoms, we have continued exploring nature through art, creating beautiful paper flowers using liquid watercolours and eyedroppers.
As the weather gets warmer, the children have been enjoying lots of water play and sensory experiences outdoors. Filling, pouring and transporting water have been particularly popular, giving the children plenty of opportunities to develop their motor skills and body awareness while having fun!
Our new outdoor dress-up corner has also been a big hit! The children have loved trying on different costumes and getting creative with their pretend play. We’ve also seen lots of lovely moments of children playing together, doing each other’s hair in the hairdressing area and making cakes and ice creams in the sandpit.
It’s been wonderful to see how much the children’s confidence, friendships and independence have grown throughout the year. We’re looking forward to lots more fun and learning together in our final term!

2026 Kindergarten Parent Opinion Survey
Each year, the Department of Education invites kindergarten parents and carers to share their views through the Kindergarten Parent Opinion Survey.
Your feedback helps us understand what is working well and where kindergarten programs can be improved for children and families.
The 2026 survey is being conducted by Orima Research on behalf of the Department of Education.
The survey:
is anonymous and confidential
takes around 5-10 minutes to complete
is available in English and 10 other languages
is open from Monday 12 October to Friday 30 October 2026.
A survey link will be sent to families via Seesaw.
