OSHClub News

Week 4
We’ve had another fantastic week at OSHClub, filled with delicious food, creative projects and plenty of active fun! Our Breakfast Club kept everyone fueled for the school day with pancakes, apple and cinnamon muffins, lemon mini cakes, colourful waffles and warm honey porridge.
In the afternoons, our Snack Squad got busy in the kitchen, preparing homemade pizza scrolls, DIY nachos, popcorn, chicken noodles and mini quiches made completely from scratch! Our budding chefs also enjoyed getting creative with some sweet treats, baking chocolate caramel Halloween cupcakes and putting together their very own dessert skewers.
Our Creative Inventors explored a variety of hands-on activities throughout the week. From making Hama bead fridge magnets and wool art to painting stars, creating clay movie characters and experimenting with tie-dye watercolour, there was something for everyone! We also explored patterns using paper towels and enjoyed plenty of playdough creations, encouraging children to experiment with different materials, colours and designs.
There was no shortage of movement and outdoor fun either! The children enjoyed table tennis, piggy in the middle, frisbees, Everyone's It, tennis, soccer and cricket, along with plenty of time on the playground with their friends.
Coles MiniRoos Come & Try - Soccer Program
We're excited to share that Mount Pleasant Road OSHClub has been selected to participate in the Coles MiniRoos Come & Try Soccer After School Program! This fantastic opportunity will bring qualified Coles MiniRoos coaches to our service to deliver three one-hour soccer sessions, giving children the chance to develop their skills, build confidence and enjoy being active.
Sessions will run from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm on the following Thursdays:
- 12 November
- 26 November
- 3 December
The program is valued at $22 per session, meaning children can enjoy up to $66 worth of professional soccer coaching and activities at no additional cost to families! We're looking forward to getting everyone involved, developing teamwork and sportsmanship, and having lots of fun on the field!

Accessing After hours
For the safety of all families, we ask that parents and carers enter and exit through the side pedestrian gate next to Reception when collecting children after hours, rather than through the reception area. This designated access point provides a safer route to the OSHC service and helps minimise the need for families to walk through areas that may not be supervised or accessible after school hours. Thank you for supporting our commitment to maintaining a safe environment for everyone.
Enrolling Your Child

A helpful video for navigating the iParent Portal and completing the enrolment process can be found on this page.

Bookings
Online bookings for Rise then Shine and Stay and Play sessions close 24 hours in advance. Online bookings for the Holiday Program and Curriculum Days close 5 days in advance.
If online bookings have closed, and you would like to make or cancel a booking, please SMS the program phone on 0427 144 945.
Cancellation of Bookings
IMPORTANT: If your child is booked in for an afternoon Stay and Play session and that booking is no longer required, please cancel the booking on the iParent Portal. If you are cancelling on the day, please contact us on the program phone before 3:25pm to avoid a non-notified absence fee of $20.00 per child.
We are responsible for all children booked into our care. If a child does not arrive after school care when booked in to attend, we will need to confirm the whereabouts of the child by contacting parents/guardians and emergency contacts. If we cannot successfully do this, it then becomes a missing child incident.
As you can imagine, this can be very stressful!
Thanks for your cooperation by notifying us of any Stay and Play absences.
