Harmony Week

The student leadership team successfully organised and celebrated Harmony Day on Tuesday 17 March. Students were encouraged to wear cultural dress or colours of a national flag for a gold coin donation, with all funds raised going towards Goonawarra Neighbourhood House.

Our School Captain, Michaela Bench, organised a working party to bake in the food rooms ahead of the bake sale, making delicious treats such as Honey Joys, chocolate crackles and sticky toffee. A huge thank you to Mataya, Vicky, Zoe, Kalea, Claudia, Ashley, Jamie, Obi, Miss McRae and Miss Glencorse, who kindly volunteered their time on Monday 16 March after school.

Alongside the lunchtime bake sale, a karaoke station was also set up by the Music Captains, Fletcher and Julian. Overall, it was a successful day with a lot of fun had by all. 

Thank you to everyone who got involved on the day and helped raise over $700 for the selected charity!
