Calling All Students!
Do you have a creative idea that could inspire our school community to be more sustainable?
To celebrate World Environment Day on Friday 5 June, we launched a Video & Poster competition and we invite everyone to participate!
Participants can enter in one of two categories, that will be judged separately:
Short Video Competition
- Create a short video that promotes sustainability and environmental awareness.
- Videos should be engaging, informative, and inspire positive action within our school community.
Poster Competition
- Design an eye-catching poster that highlights an environmental issue or encourages sustainable practices at our school and in everyday life.
Themes
Your entry may focus on topics such as:
Reducing waste and litter
Recycling and the Container Deposit Scheme
Saving energy and water
Protecting biodiversity
Who Can Enter?
Individual students
Groups of students
Working in teams is encouraged!
Judging Criteria
Entries will be assessed on:
Creativity & originality
Impact of message & the potential to inspire positive environment action
Quality & presentation
Relevance to Earth Day & School Sustainability
Exciting Prizes to be Won!
Prizes will be awarded to the winners of each category with the winning poster and video will be shared with the wider community!
Submission Deadline: Tuesday 16 June
How to Submit: Send your poster or video (or accessible link to it) to me via Teams, listing all the names of the participants.
