A huge congratulations to all of our footy and netball players who took part in their grand finals over the weekend. We are incredibly proud of the effort, determination, and teamwork shown across all teams.
A special mention goes to Year 12 student Hannah Piltz, who capped off her final week of school by playing in the C Grade Netball Grand Final – a wonderful way to finish her TAC sporting journey.
We also celebrate Eamon Boyle and Andrew Male, who were part of the Henty 3rds Grand Final. Coming in as the underdogs, they rose to the occasion, with Eamon’s move forward for the first time this season proving to be a match-winning gamble.
And finally, to all of our other premiership winners – congratulations! The bragging rights are yours for 2025.

Congratulations to all of our athletes on their commitment, sportsmanship, and achievements on the day. We are proud of the way you represented TAC at such a prestigious venue.
Beau Gray at the Jack Newton Cup
Earlier this week, Beau Gray travelled to Sydney to compete in the prestigious Jack Newton Cup, one of the key junior golf tournaments in New South Wales. The event, named in honour of Australian golfing legend Jack Newton, has a proud history of showcasing the best up-and-coming golfers from across the state.
Beau put together an outstanding round, finishing 15 over on the day, a strong performance on a challenging course. Congratulations to Beau on representing TAC with great determination at such a highly regarded event.
On Saturday 13 September, several Trinity students proudly represented their clubs in the Tallangatta & District Netball Grand Finals.
13 & Under – Kiewa Sandy Creek v Thurgoona
In a close match, Kiewa Sandy Creek came away with a 26–23 win. The Thurgoona girls played their hearts out and should be so proud of their effort and wonderful attitude.
Well done to Nyla Grealy, Elle Martin and Rayne Rampal!
17 & Under – Kiewa Sandy Creek v Chiltern
Kiewa Sandy Creek fought hard in a tough game, securing a 42–38 victory. Congratulations to Issy Whitsed (Y11), who stepped into the roles of Statistician and Assistant Coach midway through the season due to knee surgery.
Fun fact: the Kiewa side was co-coached by former Trinity student Jess Barton (Class of 2017), who also coached the 15 & Under Kiewa team to premiership success!
Well done also to Portia Johnston (Y10), who played a fantastic game for Chiltern and gave her all.
