The Year 12 Graduation Ceremony was filled with unforgettable moments as our talented students delivered a series of truly amazing musical performances. One of the standout highlights was a moving rendition of Nothing Else Matters, performed with emotion and precision by Archer Torrens and the Year 12 students. Their interpretation of this iconic Metallica ballad captivated the audience, blending heartfelt vocals with rich instrumental support from the Wind Ensemble to create a performance that was both powerful and deeply resonant.
A particularly poignant moment in the program was the performance of Different Worlds by Jess Hudak, delivered by our outgoing Performing Arts Captains. This heartfelt performance served as both a farewell and a tribute — a reflection on their journey and the bonds formed through years of music, drama, and leadership. Their rendition was filled with sincerity and warmth; a true reflection of their leadership in Performing Arts.
The Wind Ensemble brought a high-energy atmosphere with their processional of Radioactive by Imagine Dragons, before transporting us to a more classical realm with an inspiring performance of Jupiter from Gustav Holst's The Planets as the recessional.

One of Shakespeare’s most loved plays, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, is a fun comedy, filled with magic and mischief. On the eve of the Duke’s wedding, four Athenian teens run away to the forest while a group of tradespeople rehearse a play as part of the celebrations. Unknowingly, they wander into a feud between the fairy king and queen. A fairy named Puck makes both the teenaged boys fall in love with the same girl and turns one of the tradespeople into a donkey to play a trick on the fairy queen. In the end, the magic is reversed; the two young couples reconcile, the Duke is married, the tradespeople perform their play and the fairies offer blessings to them all. While the audience is left to consider if it was all a dream!
