Farewell to the Class of 2025

To celebrate the end of 13 years of schooling, our Year 12s enjoyed a week filled with fun, laughter, and tradition.

For many, the journey began back in Kindergarten, and it has been a privilege to watch them grow into the remarkable young men and women they are today.

The celebrations began with alternative uniforms and a spirited staff vs. students dodgeball game, followed by a midweek breakfast themed ‘Iconic Celebrities’. From creative costumes and chaotic carparking to glad wrapping and plenty of laughs, the week was packed with energy and joy.

On Thursday, we gathered for a beautiful Chapel service at St Matthew’s and a memorable Graduation Assembly. Inspiring speeches, awards, and heartfelt moments made the day one to remember.

A highlight was the traditional Guard of Honour, as our graduates walked through the Senior School and down through the Junior School, cheered on by students from Kinder to Year 11. This special tradition marks both the end of an era and the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

Thank you for the memories, Class of 2025. We are so proud of you - go well!

Year 9 Personal Best Projects

Our Year 9s have done it again – and absolutely wowed us with their Personal Best Projects!

From marathon charity swims, custom dog kennels and mouth-watering food, to barber trims, stunning paintings and hand-crocheted plushies (plus so much more!) – the creativity and effort on display was incredible. Each student worked with a mentor of their choice, learning new skills and gaining knowledge to bring their ideas to life.

A big thank you to all the families who came along to support and celebrate the showcase. Amazing job, Year 9 – we are so proud of you!

Year 12 Drama

Congratulations to our talented Drama students!

We are thrilled to share that the following students have been nominated for possible inclusion in OnSTAGE – the annual showcase of HSC Drama performances and projects, to be held at the Seymour Centre from 7–13 February 2026.

Group Performance Nomination - Maya Gatford, Siahn O’Sullivan, Finnian Pidd & Amelie Schubert for Beating Heart.

This powerful piece explored the emotional impact of war on three generations – son, husband, and father – through immersive soundscapes, stylised movement, Brechtian techniques, and nostalgic childhood songs.  A compelling and deeply moving performance about love, loss, and resilience.

Individual Performance Nominations:

Maya Gatford – Saint Joan

Maya delivered a stirring portrayal of Joan of Arc in her final moments, capturing Joan’s courage and turmoil with emotional depth, a flawless French accent, and breathtaking stage presence.

Finn Pidd – Advance Man

Finn’s comedic monologue had audiences in stitches as he brought to life a frantic royal staffer preparing hotels for the Queen’s arrival, masterfully balancing chaos, charm, and sharp wit.

We are incredibly proud of these students for their creativity, dedication, and outstanding performances.
