Champion House announced

In a spirited contest, Benilde took out House Champion honours, led proudly by captains Cloe Callanan and Cooper Penman with staff Ms Aurelius and Ms Nelson. 

 

Final points: Benilde 623, Chisholm 565, Miguel 330, Mackillop 269.

Duke of Edinburgh – Silver Award recipients

We are delighted to recognise students who have demonstrated sustained commitment to service, skills, physical recreation, and the Adventurous Journey to achieve this distinguished award.

 

Silver Award: Olivia Sinclair, Kara Emans, Tilly‑Rose Buchan, Alexis Barnes, Eva Correia, Kiani Johnson, Georgia Pike, Mia‑Grace Schembri, and Ellie Robertson. Congratulations on this wonderful accomplishment.

Representative and community sport highlights

Beyond the pool, students continue to shine across many codes:

 

  • Softball: Grace Mulhall being selected in the NSWCCC Open Girls Softball Team
  • Touch Football: Zayne Pisani, Marshall Barlow, Cooper Penman, and Giselle Barlow being selected in SCS Touch Football. 
  • Oztag: Kai McKinley won the NSW Oztag Championships with Easts and was named MVP. I am also aware of many of our talented students who competed over this weekend and the State Cup Touch weekend also. Congratulations to all.
  • Aquathlon: Lachlan Brinckley was selected for the NSW All Schools Aquathlon Team (Queensland event).
  • Surf Life Saving / Surf Sports: Lila Smith (Gold & Bronze at NSW State Nippers), Beau Griggs (two Bronze at NSW Open State Surf Titles), and Kiani Johnson (Gold & Silver at NSW Open State Surf Titles).
  • Game Fishing: Brae Geelan represented NSW Game Fishing during the holidays. 
  • Shark Island Swim Challenge: Congratulations to both Beau Griggs and Kiani Johnson for placing 2nd place in the Elite category of the recent Shark Island Swim.
