Careers Week | VTAC Registration
𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐦 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞!
This week, students have been exploring careers using the VIC VICE Virtual Reality Career 360° Headsets!
These immersive experiences provide a fun and interactive way for students to virtually explore careers in industries such as mechanics, farming, logistics, allied health and much more. It has been fantastic to see so many of our students in Year 7 to 10 getting involved during lunchtime in the School Library and discovering future career pathways in an exciting and engaging way.

VTAC Registrations Now Open – 2027 Entry
Dear Year 12 Students,
VTAC REGISTRATIONS NOW OPEN – 2027 ENTRY
Applications for the 2027 intake will open on 3 August.
In the meantime, current Year 12 students can create a VTAC account and begin preparing their details ahead of applications opening.
Attached is the ‘Setting Up Your VTAC Account and Profile’ fact sheet to help guide students through this process.
IMPORTANT – USI NUMBER REQUIRED
Students cannot register for VTAC without a Unique Student Identifier (USI) number.
Many students may already have a USI number, as this may have been organised during Year 10 or through participation in a VET course or other training.
- Create a USI – CLICK HERE
- Find your existing USI number – CLICK HERE
- To create a USI, students will need some form of identification (ID), such as a Medicare Card or other accepted identification.
STUDENTS CAN NOW:
- Create a VTAC account and register contact details - This allows students to
- obtain their VTAC ID,
- stay informed throughout the year and
- receive updates from VTAC.
- Complete personal details - This includes
- contact details,
- family background,
- citizenship and residency,
- USI number and
- living location.
FROM 3 AUGUST, STUDENTS CAN COMPLETE:
- Educational history
- Including their Year 12 student number
- Course applications and preferences for 2027
- Applications open 3 August.
- Students can begin entering preferences from this date.
- Preferences are not final and can be changed, added or deleted during the VTAC application period.
- Ms Juric will be able to assist students with this process during individual VTAC appointments which will be allocated during students' free periods.
- Equity Schemes and Scholarship applications
- These will open alongside course applications on 3 August.
Students are encouraged to come and see Ms Juric if they have any questions or require assistance with this process.
