Year 7 Camp

Year 7 Anglesea Camp Report
Our recent Year 7 camp to Anglesea was an outstanding success, with students embracing every opportunity for adventure, teamwork and personal growth. Over three action‑packed days, the cohort enjoyed a wide range of activities that challenged them, inspired them, and—most importantly—brought them together as a year level.
Students threw themselves into surfing sessions on the beautiful Anglesea coastline, where many stood up on a board for the very first time. Beach games kept the energy high and the laughter constant, while bike riding and canoeing offered chances to explore the natural surroundings from new perspectives. The high ropes course pushed students to step outside their comfort zones, showing incredible courage and support for one another. The always‑popular Amazing Race rounded out the experience with teamwork, problem‑solving and plenty of friendly competition.
Throughout the camp, it was wonderful to see students encouraging each other, trying new things, and building friendships that will strengthen their sense of belonging at school.
A heartfelt thank you goes to all the staff who attended and supported the students across the three days. Their enthusiasm, care and commitment ensured the camp ran smoothly and created a memorable experience for everyone involved.
