Winter Concert

What an amazing community event! With parents and students selling food and drinks, helping with gear set up and pack up, and of course wonderful performances from our students, it was just a fabulous evening. Many thanks to Pat Consedine for sound, to all who pitched in and helped move gear and chairs before and after the concert. 

Congratulations George for winning the Wood raffle, I’m sure this will help keep the Ibrahim family snug and warm over the Winter!

Sales throughout the evening raised a total of $1,141 which will help support our fabulous students. 

VOCAL SOIREE

Many thanks to Nadine for another wonderful vocal soiree, held last Tuesday in the bandroom. It was wild and stormy outside, but a cosy atmosphere inside with some beautiful renditions of old classics and pop numbers. Congratulations to all who performed!

VET@ the Barwon Club

VET Bands from Years 1 and 2 are performing at the Barwon Club on Monday 30th June and Tuesday 1st July.

Come along and enjoy a meal at the Barwon Club while hearing some fantastic live music from ‘Jessie and the Farm Animals’, ‘Third Drawer Down’,  ‘Raani + Zara’, Insert Band name here,’ ‘Crush Course’, ‘Addicted’and many more! 

We are excited to announce that our student led band, “Chopped”, have been accepted to perform at the Royal Melbourne Show! The Band had to undergo a rigorous selection process, and we know they will represent BHS and our music program with distinction.

Congratulations to Chopped members Angus Moffatt, Felix Gardner, Braydn Beckwith Smith, Will Gladman, Rabhin O’Keife, Asher Watts, Harrison Sprigg and Finn Ibrahim.

Congratulations to all the singers who braved the crazy wind on Monday to perform for the lunchtime crowds at the canteen.

Well done to Charli German, Olivia Masters and Singit for their awesome performances!
