Guard of Honour

The second week of term was an emotional one as we bid farewell to our Year 12s. At the conclusion of period 4 on Thursday 16th October, a pathway was created from the VCE Study Centre, running through the heart of the school to the front gates. Students from other year levels gathered on either side along with teachers (some of whom had watched our Year 12s grow up), preparing to cheer on our most senior students as they embarked on the next chapter in their lives. The staff and faculty of Cheltenham Secondary College wish our Year 12s the best of luck for all their future endeavours. Onwards and upwards!

Year 11 Zoo Excursion

Last Friday, the Year 11 Biology students from Cheltenham Secondary College visited the Melbourne Zoo to observe and study the structural, behavioural, and physiological adaptations of various animals. The excursion allowed students to connect their classroom learning to real-life examples, gaining a deeper understanding of how different species survive and thrive in their environments. It was an engaging and educational experience that brought biology to life beyond the classroom.

Year 12 Valedictory

Our Valedictory Dinner will take place on Wednesday 26th November at Cathies Lane Receptions. This is a wonderful night of celebrations for our whole year 12 cohort. This is a special occasion for students, and their friends and families, to celebrate the end of 13 years of school. Regardless of what comes next for our departing students, we celebrate the incredible journey they have taken, to get to their final year.

2026 Year 12 Formal

The 2026 Year 12 Formal will take place on Friday 13th February at The Grand on Princes. On Monday, the current Year 11 students received information regarding the ticket purchase process and student expectations. Tickets will be $95 and be available after exams. If further details are required please contact Karly Hargreaves in the main office.
