New Captains |  Chelt's Got Talent | Wellbeing

Term 4 has been fairly busy with the amazing Year 12s finishing their mandatory lessons at school leading up to their very important exams. We would like to wish them luck for the future and whatever may lie ahead.

Following the farewell of the Year 12s, the captain's flame has been passed on to our new school leaders. The Handover Assembly took place on Monday 13th October, where we saw the 2025 school captains hand over to the 2026 college captains.

Congratulations to our new captains Emily Campbell and James Polygenis, our new Vice Captains Anastasia Grigoropoulos and Julian Hansen, our International Captain Brandon He, International Vice Captain Ryike Qian, Music Captain Ruby Cripps, House Captains Josh Kerr (Thalera), Harrison Robson & Holly Ellis (Killara), Josh Keys (Arakoola), Finn Rawlinson (Pampari) and Social Services Captain George Kaynarskyy

We are currently recruiting middle school, junior school captains and new SRC members. Don’t be shy! SRC is all about student voice and you can help decide what is going to happen in the school!

The SRC team has worked hard to advance student initiatives and foster community engagement. While the specific school building names are yet to be chosen, the SRC secured “constellations” as the overarching theme, with plans to seek further input from students and staff before deciding on final changes to the new and current buildings at Cheltenham Secondary College.

In other discussions, Wellbeing Week planning went off without a hitch as the Wellbeing Captain assembled a team to coordinate events alongside Ms. Haworth. Chelt's Got Talent took place first week back, where the whole school was in attendance to witness a number of students perform. Everyone displayed incredible talent, and congratulations to the winners. This term, ongoing Bake Sales will continue at school to help raise funds towards programs and initiatives at Cheltenham.

SRC are now concentrating on an environmental campaign to address the rising litter and implementing initial strategies to combat a sustainable program across the school.

These developments, both previous and ongoing, highlight the SRC’s continued dedication to student wellbeing, inclusive decision-making, cultural recognition, and community care at Cheltenham Secondary College.
