Inclusion

Meet the Team

At Cheltenham Secondary College, we know that students achieve their best when they feel supported, understood, and are able to access learning in ways that suit their individual needs. Our Inclusion Team works in partnership with students, families, teachers, the Wellbeing team and external professionals to ensure every learner has the opportunity to thrive. We use a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), which means providing the right level of care at the right time, whether that’s whole-class strategies, small-group support, or more individualised assistance.

This semester, the team has been active both in the classroom and out in the community, with highlights including the Year 9 City School program, the Year 7 Zoo visit, and even a chess competition. A special thank you to Rama, Jenny, Jackson, and Sarah for supporting our Year 9 students during their City School experience. Their presence helped students feel confident navigating the city and exploring new places. Back at school, our team continues to work closely with teachers to make learning accessible through differentiated activities, small-group support, and one-on-one assistance where needed.
