Applied Learning

It has been a fantastic start to the year for our Applied Learning students, with many already demonstrating initiative, commitment, and a strong sense of community.

A special congratulations goes to Misha, who went above and beyond by independently securing her own work placement at VMCH. This required confidence, organisation, and perseverance, and we are incredibly proud of the initiative she has shown in taking this step toward her future career pathway.

We would also like to recognise Ali and Mikayla, who have continued their volunteering at Encompass Care. Each week they assist by packing and sorting food that is distributed to vulnerable members of our community. Their ongoing commitment highlights the positive impact our students can have beyond the classroom.

Joining them in this important work this year are Alex and Rykon, who have already made a great start as part of the volunteer team.

It has been wonderful to see our students building practical skills, developing confidence, and contributing meaningfully to the wider community. We look forward to sharing more of their achievements as the year progresses.
