Performing Arts

Hi all,

Well, it has been a highly active fortnight in Performing Arts, with the students finishing off their Christmas Carols 2023 preparation, including mastering those dance moves. All year levels have been so diligent in learning their lyrics and applying these themes to their accompanying dance. Those who attended the carols last night will have seen the students’ efforts culminating in an entertaining performance (see some pics from last night below). 

A special shout-out to the classroom teachers who were so helpful both on the night, and in allowing time in your loaded curriculums for singing practice. Your accommodations were instrumental in the students learning and recalling their songs’ lyrics (pun intended!). 

It has been a pleasure teaching the students this term and I am certain many have a bright musical future ahead of them!
