Grade 2 | Wattle

In Science Grade Two this term Grade Two is learning about the Earth, Sun, Moon and other planets and the stars in the Solar System and Space. So far we have focussed on the stars including the sun, and compared their sizes and their distance from Earth. We have also learnt about planetary systems such as the Solar System. 

This week we learnt about how the Earth rotates as it orbits around the sun and how this causes day and night. We made some models to show how the earth orbits while rotating.
