Welcome back to what is already shaping up to be an incredibly busy and rewarding term! It has been wonderful to see the students return with such positive energy and enthusiasm.
Here is a quick update on what Year 7 has been up to, and what we have looking ahead.
Founder's Day: We kicked off the term with an amazing Founder’s Day, coming together to celebrate our rich Lasallian heritage. It was an absolute joy to see the Year 7 cohort getting involved, showing immense school spirit, and genuinely having a great time throughout the day's festivities.
As the weather has cooled down, I want to take a moment to say how thoroughly impressed I am with the way Year 7 students are wearing their college winter uniform. They are stepping through the gates looking smart and wearing the uniform with true pride. Thank you to parents and carers for your support in ensuring our uniform standards are met.
We have some significant events coming up in the next few weeks that we are very much looking forward to:
'Bullying No Way' Program: An important initiative to promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all our students.
We are getting very excited about our upcoming Year 7 Camp! To ensure everything runs smoothly and your child can attend, please complete the following mandatory steps as soon as possible:
Compass Consent: Please ensure you have officially provided consent for your child to attend via the Compass portal.
“The liturgy really brought me into the school and made me feel welcomed. The homeroom activities in our houses were very fun and made us have to work together. Our homeroom stall was the human fruit slot machine and it got so many people excited to try and win a prize. The Talent Show was the best ever and I was upset when it finished. The music, the crowd and even the teachers’ band…everything was perfect!” - Michael Jordanov 7HR.1
