Your Move

Recently, the Year 4 and Year 6 students participated in a bike incursion where we learned important bike riding skills and how to stay safe while riding.
We practised things like controlling our bikes, balancing, signalling and being aware of other people around us. The incursion also taught us about road safety and how to be responsible riders.
One of the most important things we learned is that everyone should always wear a helmet when riding a bike. A helmet helps protect your head and can prevent serious injuries.
Riding our bikes to school is a great way to stay active, keep healthy and have fun. If your child wants to ride their bike to school, remember that we have bike racks where they can safely store their bike during the day.
We would also like to remind everyone that bikes must not be ridden through the school grounds. When you enter the school, you need to hop off your bike and walk it to the bike racks. This helps keep everyone safe.
