Student Report

Hey Tarneit Senior College!
As we come to the end of Term 3, it is hard to believe that we are already approaching the final term of the school year. This is a great opportunity to pause and recognise the effort, resilience and commitment that students across our school have shown throughout the year.
Firstly, congratulations to every student and staff for consistently showing up and giving things a go. Whether you have had an amazing year or one that has brought its challenges, simply continuing to turn up, participate and keep moving forward is something to be proud of. Your effort does not go unnoticed, and as we head into our final term, I encourage everyone to recognise how far they have come.
A special congratulations goes to our Year 12 students, who are approaching the end of their time at school. This is an exciting but also incredibly important period as you prepare for exams that occur over the holidays and throughout Term 4. While there may be plenty of pressure and expectations, remember to look after yourselves, celebrate your achievements so far and trust the work you have put in. The end is in sight, and we are all incredibly proud of you.
R U OK? Day was a major success with heaps of activities organised from bracelet making to mini olympics and a special visit by the Wyndham Surfers Bus. A huge well done to the School Leadership and the Wellbeing team for the time, creativity and hard work they have put into organising events throughout the year. These activities play an important role in building connection, creating a positive school environment and giving students opportunities to get involved beyond the classroom.
It has also been fantastic to see the success of Wear It Purple Day. Thank you to everyone who participated, showed their support and helped create an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere across our school. Events like these demonstrate the strength of our school community when we come together with kindness, understanding and respect.
As we look towards the final term, I want to leave everyone with a little motivation: you are closer to the finish line than you think. Term 4 can feel long, but every day is another opportunity to make progress, support your friends, get involved and finish the year with something to be proud of. Don't worry about being perfect, focus on doing your best, taking things one step at a time and looking after yourself along the way.
But before we get there, enjoy the Term 3 holidays! Take the opportunity to rest, recharge and spend time doing the things you enjoy. Come back ready for the final stretch, because there is still plenty to look forward to.
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to making Term 3 such a positive and memorable one. I am looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together in our final term.
Keep showing up, keep supporting one another, and let's finish the year strong!
