RGAR House Awards
Mr CHURCHYARD & Ms HARDY
This year has been a remarkable one for all houses. Students took part in major events such as the House Olympics, athletics, swimming, and the cross-country carnival. Parkes accumulated the most points overall in the three carnivals, while Florey triumphed in the House Olympics, which featured the Physical Education relay, Humanities Row, Pancake Bake-Off, Spelling Bee, and Theatre Sports. After such an action-packed series of events, it's time to announce the House with the highest total points, earning the title of Overall House Champion. This year, one House has truly stood out, showing remarkable consistency, strength, and teamwork throughout. I am excited to announce that the winner is Florey House! Congratulations to everyone in Florey—your commitment, energy, and collaboration have made this victory possible.
A heartfelt thank you to our House leaders for their outstanding leadership this year. Your dedication in guiding your houses, motivating your peers, and setting a strong example has been truly invaluable. We also extend our gratitude to the teachers and staff who have supported the House system—your encouragement and organization are what make these events possible. You inspire our students to push their boundaries, embrace challenges, and reach their fullest potential. A special shout-out to our staff house captains—Hayden, Harrison, Teonie, Sally, Mark, Chace, and Sarah. We appreciate everything you’ve done, from helping to set up and run our house assemblies to your ongoing support. We are thrilled to welcome our new house captains for 2025 and look forward to their efforts in enhancing and strengthening our house culture.
