Secondary Experience Days
In Term 4, we were thrilled to welcome students from Wilandra Rise Primary School and Cranbourne East Primary School for two engaging Secondary Experience Days. These events offered Year 6 students a glimpse into the exciting opportunities that await them in secondary school.
From interactive classes to team-building activities, students explored subjects like science, art, and food technology while forming connections with their future peers and teachers. The enthusiasm and curiosity shown by the visiting students were truly inspiring, and we can’t wait to see many of them join our school community next year!
Thank you to our staff and student leaders for making these days such a success.
Additional Transition Events
This term, we were proud to offer additional transition events for select Year 6 students joining CESC in 2025. These tailored sessions provided extra support for students, helping them build confidence, familiarity, and connections within our school community.
The success of these events was made possible by the collaborative efforts of our Connectedness & Engagement team, the Wellbeing team, our dedicated ES staff members, and the Year 7 Level Leading team. Your commitment to ensuring every student feels supported and welcome is truly appreciated.
Thank you for your hard work and dedication to creating a positive start for our future Year 7 cohort!
Orientation Day
On Tuesday the 10th of December, we were delighted to host our Orientation Day for the incoming Year 7 students. The day was filled with excitement as our newest students explored their new school environment, met their classmates, and participated in engaging activities designed to ease their transition to secondary school.
From team-building games to classroom sessions and a scavenger hunt around the campus, the day provided a fantastic introduction to the opportunities and experiences that await them next year.
A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated staff, student leaders, and everyone involved in making the day such a success. Your effort and enthusiasm helped create a welcoming and positive atmosphere for our future Year 7 students. We look forward to seeing them thrive in 2025!
