Reflecting on an Incredible 2024: A Year of Success and Growth

2024 has been a year of remarkable achievements and dedication at our college. Both staff and students have worked tirelessly across a wide range of activities, driving success in academics, extracurriculars, and community engagement. From academic accolades to outstanding performances in sports, arts, and service initiatives, the collective efforts of our community have truly shone.

This year, we saw the fruits of hard work, collaboration, and perseverance. Our students have excelled in competitions, made significant contributions to projects, and demonstrated exceptional leadership. Meanwhile, our staff have been pivotal in creating an environment that fosters learning, growth, and support, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive.

As we move forward into the next year, we can be proud of what we've accomplished together and excited about the continued success on the horizon.

This term, we had the privilege of celebrating the Valedictory Ceremony with our graduating Year 12 students. It was a wonderful occasion to recognize their hard work, dedication, and the milestones they've achieved throughout their academic journey. The ceremony was filled with heartfelt speeches, joyful moments, and a sense of pride as we celebrated their success and looked forward to the bright futures ahead of them. It was a fitting tribute to a remarkable group of students who are ready to take on new challenges and make their mark in the world

Our VCE results for 2024 have once again met the school’s high expectations, reflecting the continued dedication and effort of our students and staff. The consolidation of a median study score of 30 stands as a testament to the hard work and commitment of our students, alongside the exceptional support they receive from our dedicated teaching staff. We are proud to announce that our College Dux,  Om Patel, has achieved an outstanding ATAR of 96.6, setting a remarkable example of academic excellence.

This year, an impressive 25 students scored 40+ in individual subjects, further solidifying Cranbourne East’s excellent Year 12 results. Additionally, eight students achieved an ATAR in the 90s, while 29 students reached the 80s, showcasing the incredible talent and determination within our cohort.

Congratulations to all our Year 12 students on their outstanding achievements. Your success is a reflection of your perseverance, and we look forward to seeing all the amazing things you will accomplish in the future!

The Awards Night, recently held, provided us with another wonderful opportunity to celebrate the exceptional results across all year levels at the college. It was a night filled with pride as we recognized the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our students throughout the year. From academic excellence to remarkable contributions in extracurricular activities, the event highlighted the diverse talents and efforts of our students. Congratulations once again to all who were recognized, and thank you to everyone who has contributed to making this year such a successful one.

As we move into 2025, I would like to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone for their unwavering support throughout the past year. The dedication and hard work of both staff and students have been truly inspiring, and it's because of this collective effort that we have achieved so much.

Looking ahead, I am excited about the opportunities that the new year will bring and confident that, together, we will continue to build on our success. I look forward to another year of growth, achievement, and community as we strive for even greater accomplishments in 2025. Here's to a successful year for everyone

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all! May this festive season bring joy, peace, and time to relax with loved ones. Stay safe, and I hope everyone enjoys a well-deserved and restful break. Looking forward to seeing you all in 2025, ready for another successful year ahead!
