Hands on Learning

On Thursday 13th June in Hands on Learning, we continued with our wooden stool projects. 

In the afternoon we visited the local Kinder and gave them a small wooden wheel barrow we had built, painted and decorated with potted flowers. 

We also discussed potential future projects with the Kinder staff and worked alongside the kids. It was a really good experience for us all and hopefully the start of an ongoing collaboration.  

On Thursday 20th June we continued with making our stool project. We assembled the sliding drawer and after attaching the top next week we will finish them with our choice

of decoration before taking them home at the end of term. 

In the afternoon we tried a new craft, Resin Casting. We made three different shaped coasters with our choices of colors and took them home. We had fun.
