Vaccinations

Attention Year 10 Parents,

Meningococcal disease is a very serious infection that can cause severe scarring, loss of limbs, brain damage and death.

Vaccination is a safe and effective way to protect yourself from meningococcal disease.

It is recommended adolescents between the ages of 15-19 years be immunised against Meningococcal as they are considered to be at a higher risk of getting the disease.

Brimbank Council nurses will be attending Taylors Lakes Secondary College to administer Year 10 vaccinations for Meningococcal ACWY, on Thursday 15th August, 2024 at 9am.

Please make sure you fill in the digital consent form sent out to you by email by Friday 2nd August, 2024 with either YES or NO.
