I have worked here since 2018, when we first opened.
I only speak English, but I use Duolingo and am currently studying Italian. I have also tried to learn Spanish in the past. Those are the two languages I would love to learn!
I would like to be a water fountain because I’d be outdoors every day. I always feel bad for birds on hot days, so I’d be able to help animals, which I love. I also think water fountains are a beautiful, unique feature in gardens and bring people together.
Probably sushi, because you can mix it up a bit. I love Japanese food.
Antarctica. I’m a little torn because I don’t want it to become overpopulated, but the idea of being somewhere so remote and seeing all those animals in the wild would be amazing.
My audiobook at the moment is Becoming, Michelle Obama's autobiography, because I recently went to see her and she is phenomenal. I’m reading a book called Katabasis, which is about the realms of hell. It’s a sci-fi fantasy novel that Ms Chaves actually recommended to me. For educational purposes, I’m also reading Digital Delusions, which is all about the impact of technology and AI on learning.
It was when our foundation year graduated and we were officially a full school. When we first opened the school, there was nothing here, so reflecting on what we’ve been able to build has been a great experience and like nothing else I’ve ever been able to do in my career.
I was very studious. I was a good kid, I’ll be honest. I worked hard and didn’t really get into much trouble. I knew what I wanted to do, and by Year 10 I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I had a lot of fun.
Evanescence's song Bring Me to Life. That’s my karaoke song!
That’s a hard one. I love Sandra Bullock. I think she’s really down-to-earth and also a lot of fun. Plus, she’s made a lot of cool movies and is very versatile.
