SSV District and Division Primary schools Cross Country

Last week 30 students took part in the Noble Park District Cross Country Competition at Tatershall Park.  All students competed really well showing fantastic Resilience and Responsibility during and after their races.  Lots of students came away with a ribbon which shows how much hard work they have done to get here.  Well done to everyone who took part.  Resurrection came 4th out of all the 13 schools who competed.

And a big congratulations to Jasmine, Jacob, Austin, Archie, Sia, Lola, Akshay, Kiaan, Malise and Sebastian who all came in the top 10 and made it through to the Divisional round in cross-country running.  With Malise coming in first in her race and Sebastian second in his.

At the Greater Dandenong Divisional finals, all 10 sudents ran really well.  Malise, Sebastian, Kiaan, Akshay and Lola all came in the top 10 again so made it through to the Regional round in Hastings.  Good luck for the next round.  

SEDA Netball Clinics

SEDA college have been coming into school for 3 weeks delivering Netball clinics for all our year 2, 3 and 4 students.  This is a great way for older students who are learning and developing their coaching skills while giving invaluable physical activity lessons to our younger students.  Helping them to develop key skills and have great fun doing it.

The clinics will conclude next week with fun tournaments .
