From the Principal's Desk

Be filled with the Holy Spirit
Come Holy Spirit and fill my heart with your gifts.
Help me in all my needs and grant me the knowledge to do what is right.
Advise me in my doubts, strengthen me in my weakness, protect me when I am tempted and console me when I am afraid.
Pour your light into my heart, mind and soul. Amen.
Everyone Has the Right to Learn
At Resurrection School, we believe that every student has the right to learn in a safe, supportive, and respectful environment. Learning is most successful when students feel valued, included, and able to participate without distraction.
Along with this right comes an important responsibility. Every student also has the responsibility to help others learn. This means showing respect to classmates and teachers, listening when others are speaking, following classroom expectations, and making positive choices throughout the day.
When students work together to create calm and focused classrooms, everyone benefits. Small actions such as encouraging others, using kind words, being prepared for learning, and staying on task all contribute to a positive learning environment.
As a school community, we continue to encourage our students to:
- Be respectful
- Be responsible
- Be ready to learn
- Support others in their learning journey
By working together, we help every student feel confident, connected, and capable of achieving his/her best. Thank you to our students and families for supporting our shared commitment to creating a positive culture of learning across our school.
All the best,
Jane Dunstone
