Principal's Message

Welcome to Term 4!

It has been wonderful to welcome our students and staff back for the final term of the school year. I hope all our families enjoyed a relaxing break and had time to spend quality time together.

As we move into our second week, classrooms are settling back into familiar routines, and it is lovely to see students reconnecting with friends and teachers and getting back to learning. The school has a special energy at this time of year, with so much to look forward to before we farewell 2026.

Finishing the Year Strong

While Term 4 is filled with exciting activities, celebrations and special events, it is also an important time for learning. Our teachers remain focused on helping students build their knowledge, develop their skills, and make the most of every learning opportunity.

We encourage families to support this by maintaining regular attendance, arriving on time, and keeping familiar routines at home. Every school day matters, right through to the end of the year.

Kindness, Respect and Looking After One Another

As the year progresses, tiredness can creep in, particularly during a busy final term. This is a timely reminder of the importance of kindness, patience and respect in our everyday interactions. A little understanding, a kind word or a helping hand can make a big difference.

We encourage our students to continue looking out for one another, making positive choices and showing care and consideration for those around them. We also ask our families to extend this same courtesy to others, particularly during the busy morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up periods. A little patience, consideration and respect towards fellow families, staff and our neighbours goes a long way in ensuring these times are safe and pleasant for everyone.

Together, we can ensure TRPS remains a welcoming, supportive and positive place for everyone as we finish the year.

A Reminder About Hats

With warmer weather approaching, a friendly reminder: hats are compulsory for all students during Term 4. Please ensure your child has their school hat each day, clearly labeled with their name.

Our No Hat, No Play expectations are in place to help protect students from the sun, and we appreciate your support in reinforcing these important sun-safe habits.

Looking Ahead

Term 4 is always a busy and rewarding time across our school, particularly for our Year 6 students as they prepare for the exciting transition to secondary school. There will be plenty of opportunities to celebrate achievements, recognise growth and reflect on another year of learning.

I encourage families to keep an eye on Compass for upcoming events, important dates and school communications. Our last Pupil Free Day for 2026 will be Friday 27th November.

As always, thank you to our wonderful staff for their ongoing commitment to our students and to our families for the support you provide throughout the year.

I look forward to a positive and productive final term as we work together to finish 2026 on a high note.
