On Tuesday 14 October, students from Footscray West Primary School participated in the Western Metropolitan Region Athletics Carnival held at Keilor Park Athletics track. The standard of competition was extremely high and the efforts and participation from our athletes was outstanding. A big appreciation to the parents and carers who accompanied our students on the day. Congratulations to Angus Lacy from 5DW who qualified to compete at the State Championships in the 10yr Boys 80m Hurdles (1st in a WMR record) and the 10yr Boys 200m Sprint (2nd).
