Music Update

This past fortnight has seen all students in the Junior School practising keeping in time!! A very tricky skill when things are slowed down. 

Year 1and 2 students did this by playing 'Beat Tag'. They could only step on certain beats in a 4/4 rhythm - we had so much fun!

All Junior classes played in time to the Waltz of the Flowers using drums, bells and triangles. There was a lot of fabulous team work in each instrument group! We even found the famous song in Bluey (Ice cream episode) and floated around the room as flowers!!

 Concert Update

Auditions have been held for our up coming school concert.... the roles will be announced to students next week with scripts going home for the holidays for some extra line learning time. Looking forward to working with our students to bring the community a great show!

Our show will be held at the Frankston Arts Centre on Tuesday 8th September. We are offering two shows, a matinee and an evening show.

More information around all the logistics, costumes and ticket sales will come to you in Term 3.
