Year 4 First Eucharist Preparation

This week, our Year 4 students and their families came together for our Parent and Child First Eucharist sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, as they continue preparing to receive the Sacrament of First Eucharist in September.

Throughout the evening, families explored the different parts of the Mass, the sacred objects and symbols we see in our church, and what it means in the Catholic tradition to receive Jesus in Holy Communion.

There were many opportunities for students and parents to reflect, discuss and share their thinking together. It was wonderful to hear some confident readers and thoughtful contributions from our students.

Thank you to all of our families for making this preparation an important part of your child's faith journey, and to our teachers and parish team for supporting our students as they prepare for this special sacrament.
