Year 12 Prep Buddies 

Last week the Year 12s met with their Prep buddies on the Primary oval to have a wonderful time of tossing bean bags in hoops, racing around obstacles, skipping with the giant rope, playing catch and throw, as well as ‘ship, shark and shore’. It was delightful to see the joy on the faces of the Preppies and the Year 12s, under a rare glimpse of winter sunshine. 

Squeals of delight were heard whilst jumping rope. Legs were pounding whilst racing against their buddy. Hearts were thumping during the baton exchange for the relay race.

As the Year 12 Coordinator it was precious to note the enthusiasm displayed and the time taken by the Year 12s to invest in the littlest members of our school community.  

A big shout out goes to Mia B, Eva W, Adelaide C and Lovelia M for organising and running the games.  

One of the facilitators on the day, Noah, reflected that he enjoyed teaching the Preps how to play the games, and encouraged them to do their best. He also liked hearing about his buddy’s impressive karate skills.
