Victorian Premiers' Reading Challenge (VPRC)

Well done to our students who have taken on the Premiers' Reading Challenge and are keenly entering their books on the website.  Some great book reviews are coming through, and I have been enjoying seeing what books our students like the most.

Henry from Year 4 thought Real Pigeons Fight Crime was 

"very funny 😆"  and gave it a 5-star review.

                        Liam from Year 3 said Team Tryouts was "the best book ever", also 5 stars.

Lexi from Year 1gave a 5-star review to The Magic Faraway Tree.

"Lexie loved reading a chapter before bed and listening to the adventures and the lands of the faraway tree."

Archer from Year 4 said he liked Diary of a Wimpy Kid because it was funny. 5 stars.

Quinn from Year 4 reviewed Diary of a Minecraft Zombie, Dreamtime Stories, saying "Good book, funny and interesting!"

Great news! 

We already have one student at St.Joseph's who has completed his challenge.  

Congratulations Harry Davies!

You have met the Premiers' Reading Challenge.

Harry is in Year 1 and has already read 34 books to complete his challenge. 

What a great achievement!  He will receive his Reading Champion badge at our next assembly and a certificate later in Term 4.

We hope you'll be inspired by Harry and start entering all the books you are reading on your VPRC website page.
