News from Year Three

Reconciliation Week
We had such a great day on Wednesday making damper and cooking it on the fire behind the stick area! With flour, salt, butter and water, the Year 3s made their own little ball of dough, wrapped it in foil, and Mr Boyhan stood watch while they cooked in the coals. It was so nice to sit around the fire and eat our damper and have a chat!
Cross country
Congratulations to Taylor, Annabelle, Darcie and Felix for qualifying for the second round of Cross Country! They did such a fantastic job and we are really proud of all of you!
Assessment
Year 3 students have been working so hard on some mid-year assessment tasks this week. They have been focussed and determined and we are so proud of everyone! It's great to see so much learning has been happening so far this semester.
Cursive Practice
We have been practicing joining our letters this term! First in the air, then on our whiteboards and finally into our English books. The year 3s have really enjoyed this challenge and handwriting time is such a quiet and focussed session.
