What does it mean to be an Anglican school?
Christmas Boxes are on their way!
Thank you to our Primary families and students for your work in thoughtfully choosing gifts for the Operation Christmas Child boxes! They are being delivered to Samaritan’s Purse, who will then ship them to a designated country, and we are able to track their progress in our RVE lessons. Together, our Primary school community has created 33 boxes which means 33 children and their families are blessed by our generosity.
Bishop’s Visit
We were fortunate to have our Bishop Donald Kirk from the Riverina Diocese visit our school last week. He was accompanied by Bishop Rickson Maomaoru and his wife Deldin from the Diocese of Southern Malaita and Sikaiana. Theirs is the newest Anglican Diocese in the Anglican Communion. We were able to show them our Moama and Gunbower campus and include a classroom visit and an impromptu serenade from some Year 7 students who were practising their instruments.
Life in the Anglican Parishes of Echuca-Moama
It was exciting to see three people from our school community confirmed as part of the 160-year celebration of Christ Church Anglican Echuca. Congratulations and our prayers to go to Clare, Lucas and Darius on the confirmation of their faith!
3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy, he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 1 Peter 1:3
Kind regards,
